Effective January 1, 2026, the Coast Guard Combat Veterans Association will operate, doing business as the Coast Guard Combat & Expeditionary Veterans Association, Inc!  

This change is prompted by the need for the association to appeal to more of those members of the U. S. Coast Guard who served in harm's way, but didn't feel the word "combat" identified the kind of duty they saw during their deployment.  The hope of the officers and trustees wsd that this name change will bring forth an increase in membership, to ensure the future of the association. So far we've received over 40 new members in 2026! 
It should be noted that the requirements for membership have not changed, in any way. 
We hope that those deployed to Vietnam, Desert Storm/Shield, and to the Global War on Terror and all other eligible, deployed Coast Guard units will encourage their shipmates to consider membership in the CGCEVA!      
 

GUN RAFFLE!!

The CGCEVA is holding a gun raffle to support the association.  This raffle is in lieu of the Silent Auction previously held at our biennial reunions.  The rifles are made by Henry Firearms and are of the highest quality that Henry is known to produce.  See the raffle form for the description of each rifle.  

For those wishing to purchase raffle tickets, your membership must be current.  Check the label of your latest Quarterdeck Log to determine if your membership is current.  

Each ticket is $25.00 or five (5) for $100.00 and can be purchased on this website using a credit or debit card.  You can also download the raffle form and pay with a check by mailing the form and your check to the address listed on the form. Tickets will also be sold at the 2027 reunion, thru the day before the banquet. 

The drawing will be held at the 2027 reunion banquet on April 15th, 2027.  Once notified, winners will select a Federal Firearms dealer of their choice and the rifle will be forwarded to that dealer for pickup.   Shipping costs will be paid by the Association, however, any cost for the required background check will be the responsibility of the winner.
